Hey there and welcome back to my little piece of the internet. In today's blog I'm going to be going over how life will throw curve balls at you.. I know, I know, there are a lot! But don't forget, this is the beginning of my journey up the mountain, so there will be bumps, don't let those bumps in the road get you to quit. Now I know this isn't easy to do, but let's face it, in this day and age people are looking for the easy way out. Instead of working out, they starve themselves and binge on junk food.. instead of preparing for the future, they live off of welfare and pop out more babies for a bigger check.. basically, this nation has turned into a land of blobs, sheep, and overgrown children.
Sidetrack! Trying to finally modernize the bland vibe of my existing business. Thoughts regarding the whole branding at http://futureboardhr.com? Truly an adept HR professional placement agency if seeking in the general OTH location. Send an opinion. Many thanks!
With that being said, it's time to look in the mirror. If you're like me, you have a great relationship with your mirror and there are very little to no lies between you and the person in the mirror.. if you're not like me, you often wonder who the person in the mirror is, why do you keep lying to yourself and a slew of other questions and getting little answers in return.
The thing to remember is, you need to really have a clear image of the person you would like to be. If this means making some changes you aren't prepared to make, then that means your not strong enough to make your dreams come true and should settle for a life of mediocrity and learning to ask if people "would like fries with that." You really have to sit by yourself and get to know who you are and what you want. You may have outgrown friends, lovers or other relationships, and that's fine. The journey is long, it's best not to settle for something because you're afraid of "what might or might not happen." 'Fear of the unknown' has been responsible for many horrible things, one of which is genocide, so don't let fear run your life, it's a waste of time, energy and carbon.
So once you have an idea of what you want out of yourself and your life, it's time to get a pen and paper and write down a time line and figure out a time frame for yourself. It's all so easy!!! The only hard part is managing yourself. Yes, life will throw you curve balls and monkey wrenches, but as long as you've got your health and wits about you, keep on truckin'! I enjoy working out and there's this one motivational meme I found on facebook, that I really love. It says, "If you still look cute at the end of your workout, you didn't workout hard enough." That is the mindset of a leader. If you are doing the minimum, yeah, it's going to take a while. If you're like me and have to retrain yourself to be an extrovert, to a point, to be able to put yourself out there do it! Yes, I love living like a hermit, unfortunately, the pay sucks and as a single parent, network marketing is the best chance of survival for me and my family.
There is only so much hand-holding we (as coaches and mentors) can do, the rest is up to you. Which is why I'm repeating it here, managing yourself is going to be your biggest challenge. Once you've got yourself under control, or somewhat control, you'll feel good about the progress you've done and then the curve balls and monkey wrenches start getting thrown on your path. It's a normal part of success, just keep pushing through, stay to your daily routine as much as you can, and keep working for you and your family or whatever your WHY is.
What do you want out of life? If you are interested in having multiple streams of income, like Donald Trump and many other successful entrepreneurs and network marketers, then have I got an opportunity for you!
I am still me, but I see the world differently and no longer feel like burning it down to nothing. Navigating through life is vital if you want to avoid drama as much as possible!
Either way, if you want something more out of your life, you're going to have to DO MORE for your life.
I'm not at the level I want to be yet, so since I got fired from my day job, I had to pick up a gig waiting tables to get some fast cash for the bills, so I have to get going but don't forget! Giving up is a state of mind, so change your mindset, focus on your goals and work hard for it. Don't let anyone tell you it won't take work. It will take work and discipline.. this biz is not for the weak. Only the strong need apply here, I was helping out more, but honestly, I'm not going to do it for you. I will help and give you the tools you need, but you need to do it for yourself, but if you're reading this, chances are you already get that part of it, so moving on! (:
Thanks again for stopping by and stay tuned for more! I have some ideas for the pages and menu format.. I'm not sure, but my day off is tomorrow, so I'll be able to play more. YAAAY!
